Hi,Mr Syed
Qin Shi Huang, after conquering the last independent Chinese state in 221 BCE, Qin Shi Huang was the king of a state of Qin ruling over the whole of China, an unprecedented accomplishment.
He has curel punishments on people who obey him.
Chandragupta Maurya was the king of Maurya. His achievements, which ranged from defeating Alexander's Macedonian satrapies and conquering the Nanda Empire by the time he was only about 20 years old, to defeating Seleucus Nicator and establishing centralized rule throughout Southern Asia, remain some of the most celebrated in Indian history. He had harsh punishment on his men which obey him. Thus, I think they was both good ruler as they contribut many things to their country.

Well,i guess im the first to give the comment...XD
Ermm...between chandragupta and qin shihuang..I think that chandragupta would make a better ruler than qin shihuang as chandragupta improved the welfare of his people..He build roads, including the Great Royal highway for easy travel..I'm not saying that qin shihuang never improve the welfare of his people.. He do contritute a lot to China's history not to his people. To the people at that time, he is definitely a tyrant, a horrible king. He killed lots of scholars and burned many classic books. And thousands of people died during the construction of the great wall...

They were both strict with their rules and regulations and even killed people to prove to the public that they were strict with the rules. However they also wanted to show that if you followed the rules, they both would be happy. The difference is that the caste system treated the untouchables like slaves while the class system did not have people like the untouchables. stefan 1A2 greendale secondary school

Chandragupta Maurya and Qin shihuang have their own similarities on how they each ruled their repective empires......i think Chandragupta Maurya was a better ruler because his punishments were never harsher than QinShihuang....even thoughh his punishments wrer also bad....he was never bad to the people under him....Qin Shihuang was very harsh with his punishments....he even sent his own son to another country.....a similarity with the both of them would be that both wanted to rule their respective empires powerfully and without any doubt, both of them were very power ful rulers

Their Similarity Is That Chandragupta Maurya And QinShihuang Ruled Their Empires Strictly And Cruelly.
Their Difference Is That
Chandragupta Maurya Has A Centralized Rule,Where His People Were Divided Into Provinces Under The Rule Of A trusted Governor While QinShihuang ruled by fueldalism Where People Had Land given By The King In return For Their Support.

Hi,
Sry for posting so late...
I think that Qin Shi Huang and Chandragupta Maurya have their good and bad contribution to the society.
But I think that at least Chandragupta Maurya help his people by buildings roads and including Great Royal Highway for easy travel.
Qin Shi huang can be considered a horrible king as he had killed many innocent life.

Hi,
To me I think that Chandragupta maurya is better than Qin Shi Huang. It is because Qin Shi Huang had killed many innocent lifes compared to Chandragupta Maurya he still have consideration for his people he will try to help them by building roads and The Great Royal Highway for easy travel.
The highway connected Pataliputra to the northwestern border areas of Chandragupta's empire.Farmers were able to grow their crops more easily when Chandragupta ordered irrigation systems be maintained to
ensure a steady supply of water to the fields.

Hi,mr syed
Qin shi huang was the ruler who subjugated the Warring States and formed China in 221 B.C. He declared himself the first emperor of China and named himself Shi Huangdi (meaning First Emperor). He had a lot of cruel punishemnt on those who did not obey him . All the scolar were buried alive and book we burn that mean he did not want people to rebel him.He also send his son to exlie of other country.one of his great contribution are he build great wall to prevent the people from attacking.
Chandragupta wans the kign of maurya. He untited contry of india and establsing then centralized rule of southen asia. He had harsh law for people who did not obey him.
Thus i think they two ruler have negative and postive contribution.so we could not judge both are them are good ruler.

He did all the voilence in order to show a good example to the emperor ... that's not worth it i think ... And Chandragupta Maurya was a good ruler , he had beaten his opponent ,, Alexander ...He is a good ruler ... although he is violent but , he's not as voilent as Qin Shi Huang ... he's a better ruler than Qin Shi Huang ... Hi Mr Syed,
Qin Shihuang is a great ruler. In 221 BCE,feudalism ended and was replaced with a centralised government. It is also known as Unitary System Of Government.A prince defeated the other Shi to unify China and establish the Qin Dynasty.
Later,he took on the title of 'Emperor'(Huangdi) and called himself Qin Shihuang,or 'First Emperor Of Qin'.This change from feudalism to a unitary system of government is often reffered to as China's imperial unification.
